Mar 27: Luthieros brings the Ancient Lyre from Greece to Vancouver 🎶

This month, Pharos is delighted to welcome Luthieros from Thessaloniki, Greece to Vancouver, featuring Theodore Koumartzis, Nikos Koumartzis, Lina Palera, and composer Evagoras Bekiaris.

On March 27th, Pharos will host a free concert and hands-on workshop with Luthieros’ handcrafted lyres, reconstructed from ancient Greek prototypes. In addition to the performance, participants will be able to practice with the lyres and share a Q&A with the performers.

Because of limited capacity, we’re requesting advance registration for this event; while we can accommodate up to 50 in the room, only the first 20 registrants will be able to join the hands-on workshop component. (If there is sufficient interest, we’ll also schedule additional events).
